"I'm not gonna write you a love song an entry, 'Cause you asked for it, 'Cause you need one, you see. I'm not gonna write you a love song an entry."
Kidding babe. Of course I'm gonna write you an entry caused you asked for it.
But where do I start? How should I start? *as I racked my puny brain to come up with words of comfort for you*
I could probably start with a "You'll get over him" or a "He's a dick" but I know all your friends have already told you that. I'll be the 100th person in line to say the obvious.
Its easier to say it then to really get over a person. Like you said, "a great love changes a person- for better or worse".
Though we did have a little debate regarding the definition of a 'great love'. Does it necessary lead to marriage? Love at first sight? Everlasting love?
I dunno. Never been fortunate (or unfortunate, depending on how you see it) to experience it myself.
But the closest thing is probably the unconditional love I have for my niece. Maybe it is to love that someone without expecting anything in return.
I could say "Cheer up" but its easier said than done. But I do know one thing, it would get easier with each passing day.
I could say "That 'love' wasn't your great love" but who am I to say? But I do know one thing, that was just one, it might not be your greatest.
I could say "You'll find a greater love" but I'm no psychic. But I do know one thing, you will still have me. 0 comments

Did I forget to mention that I was rejected a visa by the American embassy?
Well, not really rejected, but I still need to wait a few more weeks compared to the rest of my friends who got theirs approved right there and then after the interview.
To add salt to the wound, they returned my passport to me and told me to come back once they are done 'scanning' my background.
What?
Do I look like a terrorist to you?
So what if my birthday falls on the 11th September? Or that half the stamps on my passport are from the Middle-east? And that I have a Saudi Arabian visa?
Wait, now I see it.
See the countdown box on the right? Haha... I can't wait for that to be 0 days!!!!

"I'm a new soul I came to this strange world hoping I could learn a bit about how to give and take. But since I came here felt the joy and the fear finding myself making every possible mistake." - "New Soul" by Yael Naim
My niece would be celebrating her 44th day anniversary tomorrow. And according to Malay/Muslim tradition, she would have her first and only 'cukur rambut' ceremony.
The cukur rambut ('cut hair' in Malay) ceremony* includes prayers, a feast and of course as the name suggests, the 'highlight' of the ceremony is to cut a lil bit of her hair. The weight of her cut strands of hair (per gram) would then be multiplied by the cost of gold per gram. And the money would then be donated to charity.
"Oh man, I feel old..." *I'm not quite sure how the entire ceremony really goes, been to only a couple when I was younger.

Its V-Day and I am alone.
Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.
But of course, its by choice (rite...). I just think I am not ready to be in any relationship.
My work is my relationship now (kinda like a love-hate-relationship).
I have friends for the company, family for the love and porn for the... ermm...
So...
I choose to be single cause I know that I am not ready, don't know when I would ever be ready. Sigh...
So yeah, except for today, I have always felt that I am at the stage where I know I can't be involved with someone. I would be a lousy other half. Busy with work all the time...
But today, somehow, being theV-Day (I shall refer to it as the 'V' word), it inevitably dawned on me that I'm single and not out celebrating with a special someone... Sigh...
It never fails to get me all the time, that V-thingy. To all the singles out there.
Here's a lilsumthing sumthing:
This is my current single status My decleration of independence Theres no way Im tradin' places Right now a stars in the ascendance
Im single (Right now) Thats how I wanna be Im single (Right now) Thats how I wanna be

Edison Chen issued an apology a couple of days ago for the compromising pictures of him and other female celebrities that have surfaced the past few weeks.
Apparently, his laptop which he sent for repairs had all these pictures and someone thought he could make a quick buck by revealing all these pictures.
To cut long story short, the female stars who have had their reputation tarnished so far are Cecilia Cheung, Gillian Chung and Bobo Chan. In fact, according to the 'source', more pictures of other starlets would be revealed in the future and up to 12 other celebs could be involved.
My goodness, Edison Chen is such a damn player. I'm sure his reputation would be 'tarnished'... I think he must be thinking, "Score..."
P.S. This blogger will admit that he has seen the pictures himself. And woah, those are some hardcore pictures man...
I can see why they have difficulties figuring out who these actresses are, cause almost all the pictures have them... you know... smoking the cigar... *looks innocently*
"Mummy I don't understand..."
And no, I won't share the pictures here. *looks innocently* "Uncle Edison told me not to share..."

To all my Chinese friends (and my newly-made Korean friends), Happy Lunar New Year.
新年快乐 (Xīnnián kuàilè) 恭喜发财 (Gōngxǐ fācái)
My Chinese lessons have not gone to waste.
FYI, here's some dos and don'ts during the festive period.
Good luck
Opening windows and/or doors is considered to bring in the good luck of the new year.
Switching on the lights for the night is considered good luck to 'scare away' ghosts and spirits of misfortune that may compromise the luck and fortune of the new year.
Sweets are eaten to ensure the consumer a "sweet" year.
It is important to have the house completely clean from top to bottom before New Year's Day for good luck in the coming year. (however, as explained below, cleaning the house after New Year's Day is frowned upon)
Some believe that what happens on the first day of the new year reflects the rest of the year to come. Asians will often gamble at the beginning of the year, hoping to get luck and prosperity.
Wearing a new pair of slippers that is bought before the new year, because it means to step on the people who gossip about you.
The night before the new year, bathe yourself in pomelo leaves and some say that you will be healthy for the rest of the new year.
Bad luck
Buying a pair of shoes is considered bad luck amongst some Chinese. The word "shoes" is a homophone for the word for "evil" in Mandarin.
Buying a pair of pants is considered bad luck. The word "pants"(kù) is a homophone for the word for "bitter"(kŭ) in Cantonese. (Although some perceive it to be positive, as the word 'pants'(fu) in Cantonese is also a homophone for the word for "wealth".)
Washing your hair is also considered to be washing away one's own luck (although modern hygienic concerns take precedence over this tradition)
Sweeping the floor is usually forbidden on the first day, as it will sweep away the good fortune and luck for the new year.
Talking about death is inappropriate for the first few days of Chinese New Year, as it is considered inauspicious as well.
Buying books is bad luck because the word for "book" is a homonym to the word "lose".
Avoid clothes in black and white, as black is a symbol of bad luck, and white is a traditional funeral colour.

More updates on my adorable baby niece. I just can't get enough of her...
Awww... Look at that... Awww... She looks like an anime cartoon character (like one of those cute pokemons...)
She's not just adorable and cute, okay? She is extremely bright and she is just over three weeks old!
That is her sticking out her tongue after I was sticking out my tongue at her...
She likes to smile and stuff (she has a set of dimples... *all together now* Awww...). And she loves watching the TV; like when you put her on the bed, she would just be content looking at the TV.
But most of the time she looks like this:
This is what I call the "stoned look". She often goes into the stare-into-blank-space-mood. And this is the time when you can shower her with as many kisses and put on cute girly accessories on her like hairbands, dresses and stuff and she wouldn't protest.
I simply can't get enough of her... *grinz*
Oh, and she thinks she is already a big girl, cause she doesn't like to be cradle carried, instead she likes to be hip carried. She can't even support her head properly lah...
