Polling Day... Boring Day...
Bitched on: Sunday, May 07, 2006
Can't help myself.Time: 5/07/2006 10:31:00 PM I was itching to blog about this... But I was warned by my dad that this could be a bit risky with all the government warning bloggers about defamation on their blogs and stuff. But seriously, I just want to say, "What's the big deal?" Its so freaking dull... Freaking freaking boring... Yawn... I can honestly say that Singaporean youths and Singaporean politics can never mix. PAP won majority. Yippey!!! Yawn... Who cares? I'm just more concern about NS... and my schoolwork.... Lift upgrading? Who cares? I can always take the stairs... Besides, that is the only promise that I heard so many times during the entire election... James Gomez? Who the hell is that? What did he do wrong again? NKF issue? Who gives a damn...? But what was interesting was that in every election (i know of) without fail someone will get sued by the PAP. PAP's new gung ho mandate should have been.. You defame me? I sue you. Rallies? I have better things to do than attend them!! I bet those who attend are either family and friends or bored residents living nearby who can't stand the ruckus... And its funny how these people make placards professing their love for the nominees like they were some kind of celebrity! I am still too young to vote for your information. But even if I could, I didn't have to. My Hong Kah GRC (Group Representative ... C... something...) was not contested. So its like a walkover for PAP... Yay!!! Yawn... I think we should do away with all these GRC and instead have SRC (Single Representative ... something...) for all the constituencies (is that the C in GRC and SRC???) in Singapore. Its fairer, no? More opposition erm... people can contest... So we as the voters have more choices. If the PAP is so confident, they shouldn't feel threaten in any way, no?
